As a prerequisite for an Iraqi retreat from Kuwait the Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein asks the task of the occupied areas of Israel. With the Palestinians these remarks find a positive echo. The Intifada experiences a new impetus, violent discussions between Israelis and Palestinians are order of the day.
