May 14th: According to the proclamation of the State of Israel Jordan, Egypt, Iraq, Syria and the Lebanon start immediately to attack to foil the realization of the state. Affair around the Irgun-steamer «Altalena». Contrary to the orders of the new Israeli army it approached with a cargo load's weapons to Tel Aviv. It is sunk by the Israeli armed forces on the coast of Tel Aviv.
