The statement, that we go today on Iles of Skye, drew our B&B host in Morar a spontaneous: Uh bad weather! Together with the distorted expression, there spoke volumes.

At night it had been snowing in the area of Ben Nevis. Who would have thought then that it should become the hottest summer since beginning of the weather recording.

On the way to the Isle of Skye we visited the Eilean Donan Castle in the Loch Duich. About the Skye bridge we left the Scottish main country. The flatlet in Portree turned out small house with an interior arrangement in the Ikea style.
