Arrival
From Zürich by SBB to Gossau. Change to the Appenzellerbahn to Weissbad and from there take the Postauto to Brülisau. At the end of Brülisau by cable car to the Hohen Kasten.
Day one
Along the panorama trail, the highlight of the Alpstein and at the same time a geological trail. From the Hohe Kasten to the Staubern and the Saxer Lücke, then 200 meters down to Fählensee and Mountain in Bollenwees.
Day two
From the Bollenwees to the Meglisalp, then along the Seealpsee to Wasserauen. From Wasserauen with the Appenzellerbahn to Gossau and with the SBB back to Zürich.
