According to weather forecast it should be raining, but it does not do it. Resemble to begin to our 1200km trip one of the highlights of our trip or from Ireland is applied: Newrange (Sí in Bhrú) (N 53.694, W 6.476). The 5000 year-old tomb was reconstructed from 1962 to 1975 under the direction of Michael O'Kelly. Monasterboice (Mainistir Bhuithe)

A small refreshment in the Newgrange Visitor's Centre and the journey goes on - with small detours - to the next highlight: Monasterboice (Mainistir Bhuithe) (N 53.777, W 6.417). Dublin - Carlingford
From Dublin via N1 to Drogheda. To the north of it then on the N51 west in the Boyne Valley to Newgrange and then on the R168 direction Monasterboice. On the N1 to Duldank and on the R173 to Carlingford.

The Oystercatcher Lodge
First B&B on ours travels is immediately a trouvaille: The Oystercatcher Lodge. The landlady was pleased on three Swiss middle old, after a week-end razzmatazz in the far around known weddingtown.
