Today is my day! Boa meets Boa Island - but to this later on. This time it is my guide who leads us to a ruinous Irish jewel: Grianán of Aileach (An Grianán Ailigh) (N 55.016, W 7.433) «Solarpalace» - unfortunately we must imagine the sun still ourselves. But the view is still exhilarating.

Rationally one must admit, that get the expenditure around Boa Island (N 55.016, W 7.433) stands in no reasonable relation to the tourist experience. But hey: who cares?!

Then it goes on Souvenier shopping. We get stuck in the Foyleside Shopping-Mall at a TV and pursue the last 20 minutes of the EM match Spain-Switzerland and enjoy 0:1! We get to know from the breaking the the getting out of hand festivities in «Züri5» just by our return.

In Sligo we catch on a pub terrace in the River Garavogue (An Gharbhóg) the last sunrays of the day. After the dinner it goes in Mc Garrjgles Pub and listen with a Guinness of Traditional Irish Music.

Sligo City Hotel
Sligo Tourism recommends us the Sligo City Hotel, a 3-stars hotel in the chesterfield look. With 79 € this house is also unexpectedly inexpensive, like all overnight stays on this trip. Even if here the breakfast is not included. |
