.01 January 5th: Ariel Sharon suffers brain bleedings, presumable because of a stroke. He is put into an artificial coma. He is declared office incompetently by the Knesset durable on April 11th.
.03 March 28th: The party Kadima results from the preferred Knesset elections under leading Ehud Olmert as a winner. Ehud Olmert had already taken over the government business since the stroke of Ariel Sharon. He forms out a coalition with the Labor, the Gil Pensioners and the Shas party.
.07 12. July: After persistent conflicts of Hizbollah with the Israeli Army began the «Second Lebanon War», which ended with an armistice 14th August. The kidnapping of two Israeli soldiers released violent military beating of Israel against Lebanon and was the trigger of the war.
