Wednesday, 16th July - with this day the last phase of my tour began: Pleasure! As the first a «neighbourhood»-visit was done at the Universal Studios.
As an early bird I had the luck, a «V.I.P.»-ticket to get hold. 200$ is certainly a deterrent price - particularly for family-mothers or fathers. However, the saving of time with the «Front of Line»-access to all attractions is already very pleasant. By the way, this is also available without «V.I.P.» for 128$. As a «V.I.P.»-visitor you gets closer to the effectual film studios one step more. After eight hours of permanent acoustic irradiation it went, for the end of the day, at the cinematic beginning of the myth James Dean. |

Fire in the Universal Studios 1st June - A fire released by construction work destroyed the famous clock from «Back to the Future» and the Courthouse Square, on which Michael J. Fox has travelled through the time. Likewise became the King-Kong-Ride and a warehouse with more than 40'000 videos and film roles a victim of the flames. |
