Monday, 23rd June - the Glacier Nationalpark was intended from the outset only as a bridging structure between Mount St. Helens/Mount Rainier and Yellowstone NP. So that I have not three «A to B»-days one after the other.
Because the Logan Pass, which connects everything in the park, was closed likewise because of the late snow this year, my visit limited itself to a small but meaningful part of the park.
After my this year's and last year's experiences with passes in the US Nationalparks became after the arrival in the motel in the evening consults immediately the «California Department of Transportation» - and yes - the Tioga-Pass is open! But more of this during one of the following daily report.
